The FizyoCare High-intensity laser therapy unit

High-intensity laser

High-intensity laser therapy

A physical therapy method that applies light energy to specific areas. Selection depends on the cause of pain and the individual's medical characteristics.

  • Treatment area and dose follow the physician's plan.
  • Eye protection and device safety are important.
  • Skin sensation and current medication are assessed.
  • May be considered to support active rehabilitation.

The FizyoCare Magnetic chair therapy unit

Pelvic floor assessment

Magnetic chair therapy

Magnetic chair therapy uses a device intended to activate the pelvic floor muscles through electromagnetic stimulation. When assessing urinary leakage in women and men, stress incontinence and overactive bladder are distinguished; the appropriate approach depends on the diagnosis.

  • Urinary leakage in women and men: stress incontinence and overactive bladder are assessed separately.
  • For chronic pelvic pain and bladder pain syndrome, the cause of pain and pelvic floor function are assessed; strengthening is not appropriate in every case.
  • For bladder prolapse, the degree of prolapse and associated symptoms are assessed; magnetic chair therapy does not anatomically correct the prolapse.
  • The evidence for the method and its suitability vary by diagnosis; it does not replace standard treatments or guarantee results.
  • Tell the physician about any pacemaker, electronic or metal implants, or pregnancy before treatment.

The FizyoCare TECAR therapy unit

Capacitive and resistive energy transfer

TECAR therapy

TECAR uses radiofrequency energy in physical therapy. It differs from needle-based radiofrequency procedures targeting a pain nerve.

  • Capacitive and resistive options are available.
  • Heat sensation and skin tolerance are monitored.
  • Report electronic implants, pregnancy and sensory impairment.
  • May be considered alongside an exercise programme.

The FizyoCare Shockwave therapy unit

Acoustic wave application

Shockwave therapy

ESWT applies acoustic waves and may be considered for certain musculoskeletal conditions. Selection considers the diagnosis and response to other treatments.

  • Discomfort may occur during treatment.
  • Temporary tenderness or bruising may occur.
  • Report blood thinners and any bleeding history.
  • Return to loading is planned individually.

The FizyoCare Spinal decompression unit

Controlled traction

Spinal decompression

A device applies controlled spinal traction. It is not suitable for every case of back or neck pain and cannot be said to eliminate a herniated disc or always prevent surgery.

  • The ICSC 2.0 system is listed in the centre's information materials.
  • Examination and previous tests are assessed together.
  • Fractures, instability and progressive neurological signs require a different assessment.
  • Treatment is reassessed if pain or numbness increases.

The FizyoCare Gait analysis unit

Measuring movement

Gait analysis

Helps assess step patterns, weight transfer and gait symmetry. Measurements are interpreted alongside examination findings and daily living goals.

  • Rehawalk and gait assessment facilities
  • Determining safe speed and support needs
  • Assessment with orthoses or assistive devices
  • Functional monitoring before and after treatment

The FizyoCare Robot-assisted rehabilitation unit

Technology supporting movement

Robot-assisted rehabilitation

Our centre plans robot-assisted gait training and upper-limb exercises according to the rehabilitation goals of adults and children. Systems providing body-weight support and visual feedback are used under physiotherapist supervision. The appropriate method is selected based on physician assessment and the person's functional needs.

  • Robot-assisted gait training for adults and children
  • Upper-limb exercises for arm and hand function
  • Body-weight support and safe movement monitoring
  • Gait analysis and visual feedback
  • Individual goals and physiotherapist supervision

The FizyoCare Hydrotherapy and pool therapy unit

An individual approach in the water

Hydrotherapy and pool therapy

Our therapy pool and hydrotherapy areas may be used as part of a rehabilitation programme. Water buoyancy may help make movements that are painful or difficult on land safer. The treatment team determines suitability, session planning and preparation.

  • Therapy pool and aquatic rehabilitation
  • Whirlpool and galvanic bath applications
  • Supportive use in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation
  • Low-load exercise options after surgery
  • Sessions planned after individual assessment

The FizyoCare Virtual reality systems unit

Another dimension in rehabilitation

Virtual reality systems

Virtual reality and interactive rehabilitation systems are among our centre's technology options. Exercises in realistic environments may support participation and motivation. Applications are selected according to individual needs and the treatment plan.

  • Interactive applications in realistic environments
  • Supportive use in stroke and neurological rehabilitation
  • Use planned by a physician
  • Follow-up with the rehabilitation team
